The Paperclip Chair is a prototype inspired by the furniture of Hans Wegner, specifically his famous Flag Halyard Chair. The design takes notes from the contrast between the sleek steel frame and the warmth of the woven seat. The Paperclip Chair features danish cord on a looping steel frame to create a comfortable lounge chair. The danish cord was hand-woven using a similar pattern to traditional application however the weave itself had to be modified for application onto the steel tube.
